Our new state-of-the-art facility offers a safe and comfortable stay for you, your new baby, and your support person.
Labor & Delivery
Stillwater Medical’s state-of-the-art expansion of the Women’s Health Center greatly increases our capacity of care, allowing our physicians, nurses, and staff to efficiently care for even more mothers and newborn babies.
Patient rooms have private shower facilities, updated equipment for newborn monitoring, and larger, more inviting spaces. With this addition, the opportunity for a patient to stay in the same room from delivery to discharge will be more common, creating a better experience for new mothers and their families.
Coming soon:
Imagine being separated from your baby minutes after delivery or having to choose whether to stay with your postpartum wife or travel to be with your newborn baby. Thanks to the generosity of OnCue, and their gift to name a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Stillwater Medical, fewer families with premature babies will have to face these unimaginable decisions. Stillwater Medical Foundation is raising funds to bring a Level II NICU to the Stillwater hospital.
LEVEL II NICU:
• Babies born 32 weeks or later
• Breathing and feeding support
• IV medication
Currently, Stillwater Medical Center provides basic care for newborns who are healthy and full-term. When a baby requires specialized care, the SMC team prepares for transport.
Enhancing newborn care to Level 2 will offer more advanced care for babies requiring interventional care without transporting.
Your donations help Stillwater Area babies stay close to home.

The renovation of the existing 19,000 SF will be complemented by the adjacent addition of 24,400 SF of new space. The new surgical department is designed to facilitate safe, effective, and efficient care by creating areas designated as unrestricted, semi-restricted, and restricted. This continuum of care will allow staff to move patients without entering public areas and provide maximum privacy throughout every patient’s stay.

Stillwater Cancer Center’s new Elekta Unity MR-Linac is the unique combination of two technologies, a high-field 1.5T Philips MRI scanner and a best-in-class 7MV linear accelerator. Coupled with breakthrough dose replanning software, Elekta gives your physician greater dose control with real-time tumor visualization during treatment.
Stillwater Medical is the first to bring this life-saving technology to Oklahoma.

Crystal-clear imaging of the internal anatomy and tumor allows for accurate dose delivery customized to daily changes in shape, size, and position of tumors and surrounding anatomy. This maximizes the dose delivered to the tumor and minimizes dose to healthy tissue, creating better outcomes for cancer patients.
